About this place

A two-bedroom apartment on the third floor of a quiet residential building in Pedro de Valdivia. It's rented as a whole, so it works best for two friends who arrive together.

Both bedrooms are about the same size and get the afternoon sun. The living room opens onto a small balcony.

Buses to campus stop at the corner, and the trip takes about 15 minutes. There's a supermarket and a laundromat on the same block.

  Worth knowing Electric oil heaters in both bedrooms, tested on the day. The living room has a gas heater: leave a window slightly open while it's on.

• Verified: Hot water

  Gas water heater. Hot water reached the shower and the kitchen sink in under a minute.

  No mould on walls or ceilings. The bathroom has a window and an extractor fan.

  All windows and the balcony door open, close and latch. The bedrooms are double-glazed.

• Verified: Locks

  Front door with a deadbolt. Each bedroom has its own lock and key.

• Not verified: Internet

  Not tested: there's no internet connection yet. The owner says a fibre plan will be installed before March.

• Verified: Furniture

  Two 1.5-person beds, two desks, wardrobes, a sofa, a dining table and a washing machine, as in the photos.

We don't check noise, the neighbours or how the street feels at night, and nothing that changes after our visit. Your own sealed photos when you move in cover those changes.
