About this place

A furnished studio on the fifth floor of a recent apartment building at the edge of Plaza Perú. The whole place is yours: a room to sleep and study, a kitchenette and your own bathroom.

The window faces east, so it gets the morning sun. The building has a lift and a concierge at the entrance 24 hours a day.

Plaza Perú has cafés, restaurants, a supermarket and pharmacies, and the main entrance to campus is a 4-minute walk away.

  He owns the studio: current title certificate from the Concepción property registrar (Conservador de Bienes Raíces), issued in the 30 days before our visit.

  Worth knowing Electric oil heater, tested on the day. There's no central heating, and the building doesn't allow paraffin or gas heaters.

• Verified: Hot water

  Worth knowing 150-litre electric water heater. Enough for two showers in a row; it then takes about an hour to heat up again.

• Verified: Damp and mould

  No mould on walls, ceilings or window frames.

• Verified: Windows

  The window opens, closes and latches. It's double-glazed and has an opening limiter, as in most buildings.

• Verified: Locks

  Front door with a deadbolt. You enter the building with a key fob, past the concierge.

• Verified: Internet

  Fibre connection. We measured 280 Mbps over Wi-Fi next to the desk.

• Verified: Furniture

  1.5-person bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, a small table with two chairs and an armchair, as in the photos.

Not checked

We don't check noise, the neighbours or how the street feels at night (Plaza Perú has bars that stay open late at weekends), and nothing that changes after our visit. Your own sealed photos when you move in cover those changes.
